Fisheye Distort
Warps the selected geometry the way a camera fisheye lens bulges an image
Table of Contents
At a Glance
Warps the selected geometry outward or inward around a focal point, the way a camera fisheye lens bulges an image — points closer to the focal point are pulled in more than points farther away, creating a rounded, lens-like distortion. A scale control compensates for the size change the effect introduces.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Focal Length | How far the "lens" sits from the artwork; lower values give more distortion, higher values less. |
| Scale | Scales the distorted result, compensating for the size loss the fisheye effect causes. |
| Focal Point | The coordinates the fisheye effect is centered on; can also be set by clicking. |
| Apply / Close | Apply completes the distortion immediately; Close/Cancel exits without applying it. |

Using Fisheye Distort
- Select the object(s) to distort.
- Click anywhere to place (or move) the focal point the effect bulges around; the distortion previews live as Focal Length and Scale are adjusted.
- Press Enter or click Apply to apply the effect permanently; press Escape or click Close/Cancel to leave the geometry unchanged.
Focal Point, Focal Length, and Scale
The Focal Point is the center of the lens-like distortion and can be set by clicking in the drawing or entering coordinates.
Focal Length controls the strength of the effect: lower values create stronger distortion and higher values create less. Scale compensates for the size change introduced by the fisheye transformation.
The result previews live so the focal point and settings can be adjusted before applying.
Result
The selected geometry is permanently warped into the fisheye-distorted shape shown in the preview, replacing the original.
