At a Glance

Flips the selected geometry into its mirror image, either horizontally, vertically, or across a line you draw. A Copy option creates the mirrored image as a new copy while leaving the original in place; a Group option controls whether a multi-object selection is mirrored as one unit or object-by-object.

Parameters

Parameter Description
Mirror Type Horizontal, Vertical, or a user-drawn Mirror Line as the flip axis.
Corner A small diagram for picking which corner the mirror is measured from.
Start / Finish The two points of the mirror line (Mirror Line mode).
Copy Creates a mirrored copy of the selection, leaving the original untouched.
Group Mirrors all selected objects together as one group; when off, each is mirrored individually.
Apply / Close Apply completes the mirror immediately; Close exits without mirroring anything.

Overview

Flips the selected geometry into its mirror image, either horizontally, vertically, or across a line you draw. A Copy option creates the mirrored image as a new copy while leaving the original in place; a Group option controls whether a multi-object selection is mirrored as one unit or object-by-object.

Using Mirror

  1. Select the object(s) to mirror.
  2. Choose the mirror type: Horizontal or Vertical (the mirror line is placed automatically through the center or a chosen corner — click Apply to complete), or Mirror Line (click a start point and a finish point to draw the line to mirror across — applied automatically once the second point is set).

Choosing the Mirror Axis

Horizontal and Vertical mirror the selection across an automatically positioned horizontal or vertical axis using the selection center or chosen corner as the reference.

Mirror Line lets you draw the reflection axis yourself by selecting its Start and Finish points.

Enable Copy when both the original and mirrored geometry are needed. Group determines whether multiple selected objects are reflected as one arrangement or individually.

Result

The selected geometry is flipped into a mirror image across the chosen line, replacing the original or adding a mirrored copy.
