Draws a curved arc segment
Table of Contents
At a Glance
Draws a curved arc segment. It offers three ways to define the arc: by clicking a center point followed by a start point and an end point, by clicking a center point and typing an exact radius, start angle, and sweep angle, or by clicking three points that the arc passes through.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | Chooses which of the three construction methods above is used. |
| Radius | The arc's radius; editable with the Center, Start, Sweep method. |
| Start Angle | The angle where the arc begins, relative to horizontal. |
| Sweep | How far around the arc curves from its start angle. |
| Center | The arc's center point. |
| Point1 / Point2 / Point3 | The clicked points defining the arc, for the Three Points method. |

Overview
Draws a curved arc segment. It offers three ways to define the arc: by clicking a center point followed by a start point and an end point, by clicking a center point and typing an exact radius, start angle, and sweep angle, or by clicking three points that the arc passes through.
Using Arc
Center and End Points: click the center, click to set radius and start point, click (or Enter) to set the sweep — holding Shift snaps the sweep to 15° increments. Center, Start, Sweep: type the Radius, Start Angle and Sweep, then click once to place the center. Three Points: click three points the arc should pass through.
Choosing a Construction Method
Center and End Points defines the center, radius/start point, and sweep interactively. Hold Shift while setting the sweep to snap it to 15° increments.
Center, Start, Sweep is useful when the exact Radius, Start Angle, and Sweep are already known. Enter the values, then click once to place the center.
Three Points creates an arc passing through three clicked points.
Result
A single curved arc segment positioned, sized, and swept according to the construction method and values chosen.
