At a Glance

Turns a rounded or curved transition on a shape's outline back into a sharp, square corner by extending the outline's direction from two clicked points until the extensions meet.

Parameters

No numeric fields or option controls — it works purely by clicking the two points, with only the standard Apply/Close buttons.

Overview

Turns a rounded or curved transition on a shape's outline back into a sharp, square corner by extending the outline's direction from two clicked points until the extensions meet.

Using Sharpen a Corner

  1. Click a point on the outline on one side of the rounded or curved section.
  2. Click a second point on the other side of that section — the tool extends the outline from each point until they meet, and previews the new sharp corner.
  3. Click Apply to confirm, or back out.

Rebuilding a Sharp Intersection

Pick one location on each side of the rounded or curved transition. Ibex follows the direction of the outline at those two points and extends the two sides until they intersect.

The resulting intersection is previewed before it is applied, replacing the curved section with two straight sides that meet at a sharp corner.

Result

A new version of the shape where the curved section between the two clicked points is replaced by two straight lines meeting at a single sharp corner.
