Parameters
Current Post: Sets the active post processor for output generation.
Active Posts: Controls which post processors are available in the current session.

Auto Tool Changer: Define number of tools and tool numbers for each ATC position.
Drill Bank: Configure layout, tool positions, and quantity for drill bank support.
Overview
Current Post
The Current Post dropdown allows you to select the post processor used to generate output when codes are created. This selection determines the formatting and command set tailored for your specific CNC machine.
Active Posts
Use the Active Posts button to choose which post processors are available for selection. Ibex includes a variety of G-code-compatible post processors by default. To simplify your workspace:
Only activate the post processors relevant to the machines you use.
This helps avoid confusion and ensures the correct post is chosen during setup.
Machine Parameters
Click the Machine Parameters button to open a dialog where you can configure:
Machine Units, Speeds, and Dimensions: These can be reviewed but should not be changed unless necessary.
Auto Tool Changer or Drill Bank: Enable or disable based on your machine’s hardware.
Label Setup: Customize output label formatting if applicable.
⚠️ Only adjust machine parameters if you're confident in the changes. For advanced editing or custom post processor needs, contact support.
Auto Tool Changer (ATC)
The Auto Tool Changer setup allows you to:
Set the number of tools in the changer.
Assign tool numbers at each tool position.
Tool numbering is flexible:
By default, ATC begins at position 1 and increments.
Tool numbers can be changed per position.
If tool position 1 is set to 100, additional tools will continue as 101, 102, etc., ensuring sequential tool numbering.
Drill Bank
The Drill Bank section provides tools to:
Adjust the total number of drills.
Define the layout of the drill bank.
Assign tools to each drill position.
This allows precise configuration for multi-head drill machines, optimizing tool placement and setup efficiency.
