Overview
Interactive Bridge Editing provides a hands-on way to refine bridges in your toolpaths. In the toolpath ribbon on the right, the Edit Bridges and Start Point option activates an interactive mode.
When enabled, you can click and drag existing bridges to new positions. This lets you optimize placement for better support and cleaner cuts. Right-clicking gives quick access to context actions—removing existing bridges or adding new ones anywhere along the path.
Working interactively gives you immediate visual feedback on bridge shape and placement. You can confirm that each bridge matches your expectations, ensuring a well-supported part before machining begins. This process not only improves precision but also saves time compared to manual parameter adjustments or repeated regeneration of toolpaths.
In short, Interactive Bridge Editing enhances both workflow efficiency and visual clarity in Ibex toolpath design.
